Each project tells its own story. Here are a few that really showcase what we're all about
This one was a challenge - the clients wanted a family home that basically pays for itself energy-wise. We integrated solar panels into the roof design so seamlessly that most neighbors don't even notice 'em. Plus, the passive heating system means they barely touch the thermostat even in January.
The kids have their own spaces, the parents got their sanctuary, and the whole thing generates more power than it uses. That's what I call a win.

Walking into this 1912 warehouse for the first time was like stepping back in time - and not in a good way. The building had great bones but desperately needed love. We kept the original brick facade, restored the timber beams, and transformed the interior into modern office spaces without losing that historic character.
Now it's a thriving creative hub where people actually want to work. Plus, we managed to get it LEED certified, which for a building that old? Pretty damn cool.
Heritage Portfolio
This project was all about creating community. Retail on the ground floor, offices above, and residential units on top - but making it all flow together naturally. The rooftop gardens aren't just for show either; they're actually functional green spaces that help with stormwater management.
We also made sure every unit got natural light - no dark corridors or gloomy corners. Because honestly, what's the point of living in beautiful Vancouver if you can't see outside?

Here's the truth: every project is different. The family building their dream home has totally different needs than the developer working on a 20-unit complex. So we don't have some one-size-fits-all approach that we force onto every project.
What we do have is a way of thinking. We start by asking a lot of questions - maybe too many, according to some clients. But understanding what you actually need (not just what you think you want) is half the battle.
Then we look at the site, the context, the budget, the timeline. We think about materials that'll last and systems that make sense. And yeah, we make sure it looks good too - because beauty matters, even if it's not everything.
